What is your “Speaker Superpower”?
My speaker superpower is my ability to connect authentically with audiences and inspire them to action. I bring a unique energy to the stage through storytelling, sharing real-life experiences that people can see themselves in. I don’t just talk at the audience; I engage them on a personal level, creating a space where they feel understood, motivated, and encouraged. My stories highlight both the struggles and the triumphs, and I always leave them with a message of hope—hope that empowers them to see new possibilities in their own lives. This authenticity and focus on actionable inspiration are what truly set me apart and make each speaking engagement impactful.
How does your message empower others?
My message empowers others by showing them the art of possibility and guiding them toward actionable change. Through my speeches and coaching programs, I focus on connecting with people where they are, helping them recognize their potential and the steps they can take to unlock it. My stories, grounded in real-life experiences, resonate with individuals and organizations alike, allowing them to see themselves in each narrative. I aim to provide both inspiration and practical tools, leaving my audience with a renewed sense of purpose and hope. By reinforcing that challenges are opportunities for growth, I help people understand that transformation is not only possible but within their reach. This approach enables individuals and organizations to embrace change, drive forward with confidence, and ultimately achieve their goals.
What inspired you to start speaking or coaching?
My passion for serving others inspired me to begin speaking and coaching. I wanted to help people unlock their potential, experience growth, and achieve their goals. I believe each of us has been given a unique purpose, a gift from God, and it’s up to us to find and embrace it. I want everyone to know there’s enough opportunity for all, and we can achieve our dreams without stepping on others. Being true, authentic, and using our God-given talents is the foundation of meaningful success.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received in your career as a speaker?
The best advice I’ve received is to keep my message impactful yet concise. Speaking in small, powerful bites ensures the audience gets what they need to hear, not necessarily just what I want to say. It’s about connecting with them and answering their needs—what’s in it for them, how it resonates, and whether they feel inspired. This advice has helped me use my superpower of audience connection to leave a lasting impact.
What are some of your most memorable moments or achievements in this field?
One of my most memorable moments was the opportunity to be interviewed by Kelly Wright on his show, where we discussed hope in America. Sharing my perspective on the importance of hope and connecting with people on such a significant platform was incredibly meaningful to me. It’s moments like these that fuel my passion for spreading positivity and possibility.
How do you stay motivated and inspired to continually grow your influence?
I stay motivated by constantly learning. I place myself in environments with people who have walked the path, who understand the journey. I’m committed to being a lifelong learner, and I embrace opportunities to listen, take risks, and expand my understanding. Staying current with issues that resonate with my audience helps me remain relatable, relevant, and trusted. This approach keeps me inspired to grow and influence positively.
How does your brand reflect your core values?
My brand is rooted in service and guided by my faith. I believe God is my provider, and everything I do reflects my dedication to Him. My mission is to uplift others and help them prosper, bringing joy and positivity to everyone I touch. Serving others is at the heart of my brand, and I hope that’s evident in every aspect of my work.
What do you want audiences to remember after experiencing your presentation or session?
I want my audiences to walk away feeling joy, enthusiasm, and a renewed motivation to face life’s challenges. I want them to feel uplifted and ready to approach the world with confidence and strength, knowing they’re capable of creating a positive impact in their lives and the lives of those around them.
What has been your biggest learning experience as a speaker or consultant?
My biggest learning experience has been understanding the difference between marketing and public relations. Before working with Dr. Pam Perry as my publicist, I didn’t realize how much work goes into building relationships with the media and positioning your message effectively. Through this experience, I’ve learned that it’s not about selling—it’s about telling a story, connecting with others, and making a difference. This perspective has transformed the way I approach my work and share my message.
What advice would you give to aspiring speakers, coaches, or consultants who want to make an impact?
My advice is simple: it’s not about you. Focus on listening, learning, and providing insights that allow others to have their own aha moments. Empathy is essential; even if you haven’t walked in someone else’s shoes, you can understand their feelings. Remember that coaching and speaking are two-way streets—every interaction is a chance to learn as much as it is to teach. Stay open and engaged, and always focus on serving others.
