| What is your “Speaker Superpower”? | |
| I’ve got X-ray vision… for Greatness. Back when I led programs at Landmark Worldwide, I was trained to truly ‘see’ people, not as an audience, but as walking miracles. Giants, really. Each one carrying untapped brilliance, usually buried under self-doubt or a to-do list. What makes me different is that I speak directly to that brilliance. People don’t just hear my words, they feel seen, known, and called forward. It’s like holding up a mirror to their potential… and giving it a mic. That’s my superpower. I spot the superhero in the room and make sure they do too. | |
| How does your message empower others? | |
| My message empowers people to remember who they truly are—powerful, capable, and whole. I help them move from self-doubt to self-leadership by showing that it’s not just what they do, but who they are being that shapes their results, relationships, and reality. When they truly get that, they stop living on autopilot and start creating life on their terms with clarity, confidence, and purpose. | |
| What inspired you to start speaking or coaching? | |
| As the youngest in a performing arts family, I was lively and expressive until my parents divorced when I was nine. I became quiet, and my self-expression dimmed. In my twenties, I began reclaiming my self-expression through singing, dance, and art. In 2006 after a year travelling the world, I knew I couldn’t return to a “normal” job, I needed to do something meaningful. I joined a local Toastmasters, which is an amateur speaking club and was instantly hooked. That led to ten years teaching public speaking in schools, and before long, invitations to speak started coming in. I found my self-expression again and discovered my passion for enabling people to think differently, take bold steps, and achieve breakthrough results in their life. | |
| What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received in your career as a speaker? | |
| The best piece of advice I’ve ever received as a speaker was this “It’s not about you—it’s about them.” It reminded me that the moment you step on stage, it’s no longer about your nerves, your story, or your performance. It’s about service. It’s about creating a space where the audience can see ‘themselves’ more clearly, what’s possible for them, what’s been holding them back, and who they can choose to become. When you focus on being fully present and connected, the message always lands exactly as it needs to. | |
| What are some of your most memorable moments or achievements in this field? | |
| Some of my most memorable moments have been delivering public speaking workshops to over 20,000 students across ten years, as part of the world’s largest youth speaking competition in the UK. Watching young people find their voice was incredibly fulfilling. Running a TEDx event in London for three years and supporting over 100 people to deliver their TEDx talks and truly be self-expressed, was another huge highlight. And honestly, one of the biggest milestones was in 2006, when I decided to work for myself. That’s when my speaking journey truly began, and I’ve never looked back. | |
| How do you stay motivated and inspired to continually grow your influence? | |
| It’s a mix of inner work and spiritual grounding. I’ve spent the last twenty years doing personal development—healing, learning, and growing through every challenge. But what truly keeps me going is my partnership with God. I believe life is always working ‘for’ me, and that God wants me to win. I surrender daily, trusting that God is doing his part while I do mine. I start each day with gratitude, because when we focus on what we’re thankful for, we invite even more blessings in. | |
| How does your brand reflect your core values? | |
| My brand is my values—it’s not something I try to project, it’s just who I am. Integrity and being your word show up in everything I do, from how I work with clients to how I live my life. Performance is about bringing excellence, energy, and presence to every stage, every room, every conversation. And communication? That’s the heartbeat of it all—helping people express themselves fully, honestly, and powerfully. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being real, authentic and creating real impact. | |
| What do you want audiences to remember after experiencing your presentation or session? | |
| Rick Warren said, “Life is a series of problems—you’re either in one now, coming out of one, or heading into another.” Challenges are a part of life. That’s why it’s so important to learn how to navigate them by understanding how we think, feel, and behave. When we have the right tools, powerful ways to shift our mindset, we can face any situation in a way that leaves us and others empowered. Because every breakdown holds the seed of a breakthrough. And when you can reframe a challenge as something here to teach you, to expand you, you stop being a victim of your circumstances and start becoming the author of your growth. | |
| What has been your biggest learning experience as a speaker or consultant? | |
| One of my biggest learning experiences as a speaker came during a keynote in Brussels for a company navigating Brexit which was the UK leaving the European Union. The energy in the room was flat, no engagement, no sharing, just a wall of resignation and cynicism. I had delivered the same keynote a week earlier with laughter and warmth, so the contrast hit hard. I cried on the Eurostar home, disappointed in myself. But after a day of reflection, I did what all professional speakers must do—evaluate. I had only spoken to the event organizers prior to the event, I hadn’t spoken to any attendees beforehand to understand their mindset or what they were truly going through. I’d relied solely on the organizer’s brief. That experience taught me a valuable lesson: don’t assume, connect with your audience ahead of time. And always treat your keynote as a living, evolving piece of work. | |
| What advice would you give to aspiring speakers, coaches, or consultants who want to make an impact? | |
| Start by getting crystal clear on the problem you solve and ‘who’ you solve it for impact begins with relevance. Focus less on being impressive and more on being of service. Speak from experience, not just theory, people connect to truth, not perfection. And finally, keep showing up. Your message will evolve, your confidence will grow, and your impact will deepen the more you stay in the game. | |
