Latrice Sampson Richards has already made quite the mark on the podcasting industry. It all goes back to 2017 when Latrice found herself entering the podcasting space when she was encouraged to start doing a podcast for herself after a friend sent her the Amanda Seales podcast “Small Doses.”
“I started researching what a podcast is and how to make it happen and I just pieced it together. I bought a logitech headset with the stick microphone and recorded my first season sitting on the sofa. I fell in love with podcasting very quickly, and knew it would be a major part of my life. “
Latrice is reprising her role as host of the 2023 Black Podcasting Awards, which will air live on YouTube at 2:00 PM EST on Sunday, September 24, 2023.
