What is your “Speaker Superpower”?
My “Speaker Superpower” is to have the ability to tell my story in a way that it will have a deep impact on my audience.
How does your message empower others?
My message, “Your Habits Will Determine Your Level of Success,” empowers individuals to achieve their goals by building consistent, accountable habits. By showing people how small, intentional actions lead to big results, this allows me to help individuals and business teams overcome obstacles to Win and optimize daily performance. My coaching and speaking programs motivate corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and students alike, as I use my personal and business experiences to inspire action. My engaging approach fosters growth and encourages audiences to make habit-building the foundation of their success.
What inspired you to start speaking or coaching?
My journey began with my first business as a paperboy, where I was recognized by the Michigan Press Association as an Outstanding Newspaper Boy. I was fortunate to attend college, becoming the first of seven siblings to do so, and I discovered my passion for business and accounting. 35 years later as a successful Financial Auditor, and then being diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Through this challenge, I developed a habit-formation process I call the Habit Matrix, which helped me overcome obstacles, including depression. This experience inspired me to become a speaker to inform others about the power of habits to overcome challenges and realize the value of financial literacy.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received in your career as a speaker?
To stay authentic and speak from experience. Audiences connect deeply when they sense genuine stories and vulnerability. Sharing my real challenges and lessons learned not only makes my message resonate but also inspires others to turn their obstacles into opportunities. Authenticity builds trust and drives impactful change.
What are some of your most memorable moments or achievements in this field?
As my financial career grew, I became certified as a Financial Literacy Trainer, Fraud Examiner, and Authenticity Coach, driven by a passion for community outreach. I’ve volunteered with the YMCA’s Invest in Youth program, supporting young minds, and with the Accounting Aid Society, assisting with tax preparation and teaching financial literacy. My work has also included helping men develop leadership skills to manage stress and avoid depression. Through these efforts, I’ve been able to ease financial burdens and empower those in need to overcome obstacles.
How do you stay motivated and inspired to continually grow your influence?
Seeing the impact of my message helping people overcome obstacles, adopt empowering habits like target success, living health, think repeat and achieving their goals to just win, fuels my drive and keeps me motivated.
How does your brand reflect your core values?
My brand reflects my core values by embodying authenticity, empowerment, and consistency. Through my coaching, speaking, and Habit Matrix tools, I guide individuals and business teams to build habits that drive real, lasting success.
What do you want audiences to remember after experiencing your presentation or session?
I want audiences to remember that their habits are the foundation of their success. I want them to feel empowered, knowing they have the tools within them to overcome obstacles and achieve their potential. Most importantly, I hope they remember that by being authentic, accountable, and focused on growth, they can create a life and career that truly reflects their values and aspirations.
What has been your biggest learning experience as a speaker or consultant?
My biggest learning experience has been the power of authentic connection. While frameworks matter, genuine rapport makes people more open to change. Sharing my own challenges has shown me that people connect best when I’m vulnerable and real, making the message more impactful and inspiring lasting habit change.
What advice would you give to aspiring speakers, coaches, or consultants who want to make an impact?
My advice would be to always be authentic and serve others first. Share your story with insights and honesty by connecting with your audience or with a client with genuine experiences. Focus on understanding and addressing the needs of your audience and clients by delivering value they can use.
Finally, how can people get in touch with you?
